Brian Anderson


Brian Anderson serves as the Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer for the Apex Heritage Group. Mr. Anderson has responsibility for the development of strategic plans and ensuring that execution flows from the plans for the Apex family of companies. Additionally , he oversees marketing, go-to-market efforts, and supports the acquisitions and divestiture activity. Mr. Anderson works closely with Mr. Madden to define and execute strategies to help maximize value for the portfolio.

Prior to Apex, Mr. Anderson helped to lead Oil & Gas services businesses. Most recently, for the past 7 years, Brian has worked for FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies where he served as an executive helping FlexSteel significantly increase profitability and market share domestically and internationally through an organic growth strategy. Mr. Anderson led FlexSteel Services LLC to increasing customer service levels and profitability and prior served as FlexSteel’s Vice President of Strategy & Marketing, helping to define the strategic plan to grow the company.  Prior to that, Brian worked in varying marketing and six sigma functions for Cameron International. 

Brian holds a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. A native Houstonian, Brian is married and has been blessed with two wonderful children. He loves anything that allows him to spend time with his family, loves to travel and like most Aggies, he is fanatical about Aggie sports.
