Ken Wollin serves as the Vice President of Marketing for the Apex Heritage Group. Mr. Wollin has responsibility for the marketing of each of the companies within the Apex Heritage Group. He is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of marketing and communications strategies to build brand awareness, sales growth and market development.
Mr. Wollin's duties with the group of companies have included management, pricing, advertising, public relations, promotions, event management and overseeing the creation of all print and digital media. Mr. Wollin has worked with the Steven Madden, for more than 18 years. Working together, they have developed marketing strategies and tactics for taking relatively unknown brands and building them into nationally and internationally recognized identities within each respective industry.
In addition to marketing, Mr. Wollin has a background in industrial sales, having worked as a territory manager for Cincinnati Milacron. He managed a sales territory covering the greater Los Angeles area to central California and across to Utah and Colorado.
Mr. Wollin received a B.S. in Industrial Distribution and an MBA from Texas A&M University. He is married with two young daughters and greatly enjoys the time he and his wife spend teaching them and watching them grow. He is an avid cyclist and has proudly participated in the annual MS150 Houston-to-Austin bike ride for 20 years. Mr. Wollin is an outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, fishing, hiking and camping with his family.
